In his first two seasons as Colorado’s head football coach, Deion Sanders struggled to find an offensive line that could hold up against quality competition.
This year, the Buffs’ line hasn’t been elite, but Sanders has been pleased with the overall results from the group up front.
“Let me tell you something, our offensive line performed,” Sanders said Tuesday as his Buffs prepare for Saturday’s matchup at Kansas State (10 a.m., FS1). “Everybody in this room will sit up here and say, ‘If we’d have had those guys last year, we would have won the national championship.’ Am I right or wrong? So, those guys have performed.”
