The Patriots have added some additional tackle depth following Will Campbell’s knee injury.

On Tuesday, New England signed veteran tackle Thayer Munford Jr. to the active roster off Cleveland’s practice squad. Munford was in training camp with the Patriots this summer but was released during final cuts.

Munford then signed onto New England’s practice squad, but was poached by Cleveland for their active roster in September. Released by the Browns in October and re-signed to Cleveland’s practice squad, the Patriots have now done the same thing, taking him back to Foxborough on the 53-man roster.
