Being the new kid on the block — whether that’s in a work, school, or social environment — is not always easy.

But finding your comfort level can be helped if you manage to tick a few boxes early.

In that respect, the two highest-drafted Sceptres are finding that out pretty quickly.

For starters, both Emma Gentry and Kiara Zanon found themselves ahead of the game early on just winding up on the same roster.

The two — four, in fact, if you include Clara Van Weiren and Hanna Baskin, also drafted this season — were well-acquainted before becoming Sceptres, having shared time on the U.S. under-18 squad, as well as various camps within the U.S. program.
