A 43-year-old man with a history of stalking dating back to 2017 has been arrested again, this time for sending sexually obscene material to seven different victims over the course of three months, authorities said.

An investigation found that Christopher J. Greig, of Hawthorne, sent pornography and obscene messages to seven victims multiple times from July through September, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.

On Nov. 21, Greig was charged with seven counts of fourth-degree cyber harassment and was arrested Saturday, Nov. 22 by Glen Rock police. He was lodged in the county jail pending an appearance in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack.

Records show that Greig has a long history of harassment-, domestic-violence-, and stalking-related offenses. 

  • On July 17, 2003, he was charged in Hawthorne with harassment for striking, offensive touching, or threatening. 
  • On June 9, 2005, he was charged in Emerson with contempt for violating a domestic violence restraining order. 
  • On May 21, 2011, he was charged in Mahwah with contempt for violating a domestic violence restraining order. 
  • On October 10, 2011, he was charged in Hawthorne with harassment involving other alarming conduct. 
  • On January 29, 2016, he was charged in Bergen County Central Municipal Court with cyber-harassment. 
  • On November 23, 2017, he was charged in Bergen County Central Municipal Court with stalking in violation of a court order. 
  • On October 7, 2018, he was charged in Bergen County Central Municipal Court with stalking as a repeat offender involving the same victim. 
  • On October 12, 2021, he was charged in Bergen County Central Municipal Court with stalking in violation of a court order. 
  • On November 6, 2025, he was charged in Hawthorne with contempt for violating a domestic violence restraining order. 
  • On November 19, 2025, he was charged again in Hawthorne with contempt for violating a domestic violence restraining order.
