A Bergen County man arrested for chatting with children online in 2021 has been arrested again, this time after authorities found hiim in possession of nearly 5,000 child porn files, they said.

Sporting a clean new look, Quinn T. Dickson, 28, of Mahwah, was arrested Tuesday, Nov. 25, after members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at his Mahwah home, Prosecutor Mark Musella said.

Dickson used the Internet to view, download, and possess over 5,000 items depicting nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent and pubescent children, Musella said following the investigation.

Dickson was arrested in November 2021 after a search of his home found he'd downloaded, looked at and had approximately 800 files depicting naked and sexually explicit prepubescent children, Musella said in the 2021 release. Investigators also found that Dickson used social media to chat with children, some younger than 13, and engage in sexually explicit conversations, according to Musella.

Dickson told two different children to produce and send him sexually explicit photos and videos, the prosecutor said.

This time around, Dickson was charged with second-degree possession of child pornography and lodged in the county jail.
