(KBTX) - It is becoming more likely that Texas A&M running back Le’Veon Moss will never get a go at Texas during his college career.
Tuesday, Moss was listed as “doubtful” for Saturday’s 6:30 p.m. matchup against Texas in Austin on the first Southeastern Conference availability report of the week.
Moss injured his ankle in the Aggies’ win over Florida on Oct. 11 and has not returned to the field since. He was also sidelined last season for the Lone Star Showdown after suffering a season-ending knee injury at South Carolina weeks prior.
Before his five-game absence, Moss led the Aggies in rushing yards with 389 and six touchdowns on 70 carries. Since his injury, Rueben Owens has taken the majority of the carries, racking up a team-high 570 yards with five rushing touchdowns on 99 attempt
