PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Christmas came early for residents in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia.
A day after Action News was told that a 3-foot stone Tyrannosaurus rex statue was vandalized, it has been replaced.
On Tuesday, Holod's Garden Center donated the new statue.
" Bridget the Dino " had been at Manayunk Bridge for four years before it had its head smashed off.
The 300-pound body still had its scarf and collar.
Neighbors gathered Monday near the Manayunk Street Bridge, where the statue got its name, trying to understand what happened.
"It's definitely sad to see if someone did this intentionally. She is an icon of the bridge," said resident Arianna Ho.
