The Los Angeles Lakers have signed forward Drew Timme to a two-way contract, the team announced on Tuesday.
The former Gonzaga star made his NBA debut last season and averaged 12.1 points and 7.2 rebounds in nine games (two starts) with the Brooklyn Nets.
Timme, 25, averaged 25.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists in six games (all starts) for the G League's South Bay Lakers during this season's Tip-Off Tournament.
In a corresponding move, the Lakers waived two-way center Christian Koloko.
Koloko, 25, appeared in two games this season for Los Angeles, logging a total of six minutes.
