LYNDHURST, Ohio --

Theft: Mayfield Road

At 1:55 p.m. Nov. 17, a manager at Applebee’s Grill & Bar, 5658 Mayfield Road, reported that a former employee, a Cleveland man, 24, returned to the business and stole from its cash register $86.

A warrant was issued for the man’s arrest.

Theft: Cedar Road

At 10:40 p.m. Nov. 23, an employee of Melting Pot restaurant, 24741 Cedar Road at Legacy Village, reported that a man did not pay for his $168.48 bill. The man left the eatery leaving on a table a card and 3 cents.

His name and phone number, however, were known. Police are awaiting word from the restaurant’s manager to determine if the business wants to pursue a theft charge or have the man trespassed.
