The ' trans issue ' is a human rights issue. The equality, happiness and existence of trans people is not an ‘issue’ to debate over, pick the bones of, and then decide whether to be for or against.

An agreed truth we have strayed too far from as a society is that any well-meaning and good person is not against another person’s livelihood and existence.

On November 19, The Times reported that Bridget Phillipson, the Minister for Women and Equalities, had received guidance from the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) on how to approach so-called ‘single sex spaces’. The newspaper wrote that: “
