PHILADELPHIA − Through 11 games this season, the Eagles ' up and down offense is what it is.
They still have trouble putting together a complete game. They still have trouble running the ball behind Saquon Barkley, who had 2,005 yards last season, but is on pace for less than 1,000 this season.
And the passing game still goes hot and cold. Buy Philadelphia Eagles tickets
But the Eagles are 8-3, a game behind the Rams for the top record in the NFC, with the tiebreaker advantage over Los Angeles. And the Eagles' defense, other than the second-half meltdown against the Cowboys on Nov. 23, is good enough to close out games when the offense struggles.
That defense, however, will be tested against the Bears , who are surprisingly in first place in the NFC North with the same 8-3 record
