EUGENE — Demond Williams made his first career start against Oregon last season, now the Washington quarterback will attempt to lead an upset of the No. 6 Ducks.
Williams completed 17 of 20 passes for 201 yards and a touchdown in last year’s game against UO, which sacked him 10 times in the 49-21 win at Autzen Stadium.
Only five Power Four conference quarterbacks average more total yards per game than Williams, who enters Saturday’s rivalry game completing 72% of his passes for 2,721 yards with 19 touchdowns and six interceptions. He also leads Big Ten quarterbacks with 568 rushing yards and has scored six touchdowns.
