People were left trapped and unable to escape a 31-floor residential building after a huge fire ripped through, with four already confirmed dead.
The blaze struck Hung Cheong Court in Hung Fuk Estate, which is home to thousands, in the Tai Po district in Hong Kong. The fire quickly intensified, producing thick smoke that alarmed residents and prompted multiple reports.
When firefighters arrived, they discovered the building’s exterior bamboo scaffolding engulfed in flames and deployed two hoses along with two teams equipped with breathing apparatus to tackle the situation.
Four people are dead, with three injured, reports state. Two of those injured are currently in a critical condition. The fire service later confirmed that one firefighter had died in the fire. According to local publi
