A fast-growing bakery chain has fought off stiff competition from two other highly-renowned businesses to take the Suffolk crown at a national competition.

Two Magpies - which runs bakery cafes across Suffolk and Norfolk - won the county award at the annual National Bakery Awards 2025.

It was up against The Friendly Loaf at Nowton, near Bury St Edmunds, and Pump Street Bakery in Orford, near Woodbridge.

The judging panel assessed 229 nominees for the awards, with the overall winners announced at an awards evening which took place at Big Penny Social in London on Tuesday (November 25).
