A homeowner caught a person climbing out of their window during an alleged burglary in a Suffolk village.

The incident happened at a property in The Street, Capel St Mary, at around 5.35pm on Saturday, November 22.

Unknown suspects gained entry to the home by forcing open a window to the utility room.

They carried out an untidy search of the property.

When the homeowner returned, they saw an unknown person on the driveway and another suspect leaving the home via a window.

The suspects jumped over fences, and it is believed they left the area in a silver car.

Anyone who has security cameras that may have captured any images that could aid the investigation should contact the police, quoting crime reference number 37/66313/25.
