The voice of F1 surprised an Ipswich teenager by delivering him a new Scalextric set ahead of this weekened's Qatar Grand Prix.
F1's David Croft, known popularly as Crofty, surprised 15-year-old Kyle Pearce with his first model racing set and even commentated on the first race with his step-dad Chris.
Having been nominated by a close friend of his step-dad, Kyle was chosen by Scalextric as the nation's biggest F1 fan and was gifted with a copy of the model racing's newest set.
From early in their relationship, Chris and Kyle discovered a shared love of racing, which was taken to new heights as the long-time voice of F1 oversaw the pair's first race of the new Supercar Showdown set.
