Massachusetts residents can expect a soggy but mild Thanksgiving Eve to give way to a blustery, colder holiday.
Isolated and scattered rain showers are possible Wednesday afternoon with more rain expected after 8 p.m. Wednesday night. The highest chances for rain are on Cape Cod.
Temperatures will be well above average in the upper 50s near 60.
Although Massachusetts residents will wake up to mostly clear skies on Thanksgiving, the warm temperatures will be gone.
“The holiday kicks off with plenty of sun, but don’t let it fool you: it will be much colder than Wednesday,” the National Weather Service wrote.
Highs will struggle to get out of the mid 40s, forecasters predict.
