GRAND FORKS — With authorization from the North Dakota State Board of Higher Education, the University of North Dakota is considering fields of study to add to its dual credit offerings for Grand Forks County students.

The university has been in discussion with other universities that offer dual credit in the county, said Eric Link, UND provost and vice president for academic affairs.

“We’re all working together to try to make sure that students across the state and right here in Grand Forks County have great opportunities to get dual credit experiences, if they’d like,” he said. “What we don’t know yet is exactly the role UND will play in that. That’ll take some time.”
