CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - The Carolina Panthers will be without one of their most important defensive players when they play the NFC-best Los Angeles Rams this Sunday.
Panthers safety Tre’von Moehrig was by the NFL for one game after he punched 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings in the groin area during their Monday Night Football matchup on Nov. 24. That then led to some postgame shoving.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter said Moehrig -- who is Carolina’s second-leading tackler in 2025 -- the suspension. The Athletic’s Joe Person reported that appeal would be , Nov. 26. Moehrig’s appeal will be heard by Derrick Brooks, Ramon Foster or Jordy Nelson.
