Liverpool Football Club have released a statement after Paul Doyle pleaded guilty to all 31 offences against him. Doyle drove his car into crowds of Liverpool fans who had lined the streets on May 26 to celebrate the club winning the Premier League.
The 54-year-old has now admitted dangerous driving, affray, 17 charges of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent, nine counts of causing GBH with intent and three counts of wounding with intent.
He changed his plea on Wednesday, having previously denied the offences, which relate to 29 victims aged between six months and 77.
Liverpool said in a statement: "Our victory parade last May allowed an unprecedented number of Liverpool fans to celebrate together our Premier League title win – something we were unable to do
