BOYNE FALLS, MI - Boyne Mountain has announced it plans to kick off its ski and snowboard season on Friday, Dec. 5.
The popular Northern Michigan resort has been sharing photos of its snowfarming team testing out their snow guns this month. And now with back-to-back winter storms in the forecast for this week, Mother Nature is giving them a boost in covering those slopes.
“Clear your schedule, prep your gear, and get ready to ride,” the Boyne Mountain team said in today’s announcement.
“We’re still locking down the final details - lifts, runs, hours - and we’ll keep you in the loop over the next few days so you can plan your attack. For now, just know this: The mountain is waking up, and it’s going to be good.”
