Firefighters closed a major road near Nuneaton after a two-car crash this morning. It happened on Astley Lane.
Crews from Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene at around 8.15am. Police also reportedly attended.
Both vehicles involved were badly damaged. Nobody was believed to have been injured.
In a statement to CoventryLive, Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called at around 8.15am on Wednesday to reports of an RTC on Astley Road. Crews discovered a two-vehicle collision and used hydraulic rescue equipment to isolate and make the vehicles safe.”
A spokesman for Warwickshire Police said: “We were called to Astley Lane following a report of a two-car collision shortly after 8am this morning. Astley Lane was cleared by 10am.”
