The City of Weyburn is inviting the community to apply to serve on its boards and committees, providing advice and feedback on various services, programs, and policies.
Communications coordinator with the city, Paige Tenbult, says applications open annually for committees with vacancies, but residents may also submit their names at any time to be considered for future openings.
“People are welcome to apply for anything that they have an interest in. And we will get back to them if there's a spot available on that committee. The deadline to apply is December 1st. It is quickly approaching, but feel free to send an application throughout the year as well, and we can keep your name on file.”
