WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — A man is dead after a fatal crash on his moped in Warner Robins on Tuesday, according to Coroner James Williams.

Williams said that Lawrence Wyatt, 69, died on Wednesday from injuries he suffered in the accident.

The Warner Robins Police Department sent out a release that Wyatt was traveling west on Tabor Drive around 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

They said that Wyatt drove through a parking lot on North Davis Drive and suddenly entered the roadway in front of another vehicle.

The release said the other driver was unable to get out of the way of Wyatt, who was hit and rushed to the Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, where he later died Wednesday morning.
