Playing in the ultra-competitive Catholic High School League has paid dividends for a trio of Toledo programs.
Central Catholic, Notre Dame, and St. Ursula will play in the Detroit-based CHSL for the second straight season, competing in the Central East Division.
All three schools made runs in Ohio’s Division III postseason last season.
Notre Dame won a Division III regional title before falling in the state semifinals to eventual state champion Cincinnati Purcell Marian. The Eagles (21-7) returned to the regionals for the first time since 2021.
Central Catholic reached the D-III district final, where the Fighting Irish fell to Notre Dame.
