ATLANTA — Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene on Sunday refuted a report that she was considering a run for president in 2028, as speculation about her future has mushroomed since she made the surprise announcement on Friday night that she'll resign from Congress after the New Year.
Time Magazine had published the report on Saturday , saying she had "privately told allies" that she was considering a 2028 campaign and citing "two people who have spoken with her directly about the prospect and three others familiar with her thinking."
In a post on X on Sunday, the congresswoman said it was a "complete lie and t hey made it up because they can't even quote the names of the people who they claim said it."
