The Pittsburgh Steelers will be without standout rookie defensive tackle Derrick Harmon against the Buffalo Bills after he suffered a knee injury against the Chicago Bears, head coach Mike Tomlin said.

Harmon’s injury is new and unrelated to the one he suffered in the preseason, which was an MCL sprain. He finished the team’s game against the Bears but reported the injury on Monday, and then was swiftly ruled out.

With Harmon out, this will be his third missed game of the season. He has missed time earlier this year with the MCL sprain that he suffered in the final preseason game.

It is unknown just how long Harmon will be out with the injury, but given how quickly he was ruled out, it seems likely that Harmon will miss multiple games moving forward with the issue.
