BEREA, Ohio – A Berea boy, 16, was arrested at about 3 pm. Nov. 11 for trespassing on the campus of Berea-Midpark High School, 165 East Bagley Road, after he had been banned from the property two weeks earlier.
A Berea-Midpark official called police at about 2:30 p.m. and said the boy – accompanied by two Berea boys, 15 and 14, a Berea girl, 16, and an 18-year-old Berea man – had returned to the campus.
The 14-year-old had been previously suspended from Berea-Midpark due to a near-fight in which he had been involved.
When police arrived, they saw the 14-year-old near one of the school buildings. They asked him to come with them but he refused. The 15-year-old, his brother, told police, “He’s not coming with you.”
Police realized that the 15-year-old was not a Berea-Midpark pupil. They
