CLEVELAND, Ohio – Passenger numbers at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport increased slightly in October compared to the same month in 2024, though overall traffic for the year remains down.
The airport welcomed 859,757 passengers in October, up 1.3% over October 2024. Year-to-date, Hopkins has served 8,485,973 passengers in 2025, a 1.4% decline compared to the same period last year.
In 2024, the airport handled 10.2 million passengers – its highest total since 2008, when Hopkins was a hub for Continental Airlines.
Airport officials initially projected that the airport would served 10.4 million passengers in 2025, but that forecast has since been reduced to 10.1 million.
