Ford has issued a safety recall for its popular Bronco SUV due to an issue with the instrument panel.
Around 229,600 vehicles are affected by the recall, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration .
Documents filed with the highway safety agency stated that a software issue could lead to instrument panels being totally blank when the vehicle starts.
A vehicle with this issue might not display important information, such as the speedometer and odometer and any warning lights.
Only Ford Bronco and Bronco Sport SUVs sold under model years 2025 and 2026 are affected by the recall.
To fix the issue, Ford will push an over-the-air software update to affected vehicles.
