ALLEN PARK -- In what had to be one of the easier decisions in a minute, Jahmyr Gibbs is the NFC offensive player of the week .
The Detroit Lions running back has won the honors three times in his career, with two this season. It’s the second time in three weeks that Gibbs, 23, has been the offensive player of the week.
He’s been an absolute monster since coach Dan Campbell took over the offense, averaging 194 scrimmage yards in those three games.
Sunday’s showing in the overtime win over the New York Giants was on another level, though.
Gibbs ran 15 times for 219 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winner on the first play in overtime. He added 11 catches for 45 yards and another score through the air, too.
He has 155 carries for 955 yards and 10 touchdowns through 11 game
