An 18-year-old man killed in a gunfight on King Street in downtown Toronto early Tuesday morning has been identified by police.

Toronto police say Dylan Adams, of Toronto, died after he was dropped off at a hospital a short time following the early morning shootout. A 27-year-old man, who was also injured in the shooting, is now facing charges of second-degree murder.

Officers were called to the area of King Street West and Spadina Avenue around 4:45 a.m. for reports of gunfire.

At the scene police found a man, later identified to be the suspect, suffering from serious gunshot wounds that weren’t considered life-threatening.
