A man is in custody after a TTC employee was stabbed Wednesday afternoon at Dundas Station.

The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries that were not considered life-threatening, according to paramedics. Toronto police confirmed the victim is a TTC employee.

At approximately 1:10 p.m., police responded to Dundas Station following reports of a stabbing. When police arrived, they found one victim who had been stabbed, officers said in a post on X.

Police arrested a suspect, who was also taken to hospital with minor injuries, paramedics said.

TTC CEO Mandeep S. Lali called the incident “unacceptable” in a statement on X on Wednesday.
