EUGENE, Ore. - A local treatment facility is bringing the spirit of the season to Lane County with its annual "Trees for Hope" benefit. This event aims to support recovery efforts and assist families in need.
Adult and Teen Challenge Pac-West is operating a community tree lot in Springfield. The organization donates trees to families who might not otherwise afford one, while each tree purchase helps fund their residential recovery program.
"This tree farm helps us generate funds for the program to keep the doors open," said Donte White, director of Eugene Adult and Teen Challenge. "We also have tree farms at our other locations throughout Oregon and Washington state. And so this just helps generate funds just to keep the doors open and keep people in the beds and keep the facilities func
