The captain is close to a return.
Mark Stone took line rushes for the first time in over a month as the Vegas Golden Knights prepared to host the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday.
He appeared on the second line alongside Mitch Marner and Brett Howden during Wednesday’s morning skate.
Stone, 33, has not played since Oct. 18 due to a wrist injury, missing the Golden Knights’ last 17 games.
The Winnipeg native had been off to a hot start to the season before his absence, recording 13 points (two goals and 11 assists) in six games.
Stone suited up for Canada at the 4 Nations Face-Off this past February and is among the candidates to make the team for the 2026 Olympics in Italy.
