The Anaheim Ducks will be without their No. 1 goalie for the next few days.
Lukas Dostal is considered day-to-day with an upper-body injury, the Ducks said. No timeline was given for his return, but Ville Husso will back up Petr Mrazek when the Ducks host the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday.
Dostal took over the top job for the Ducks last season and was cemented after John Gibson was traded to the Red Wings over the summer.
In 17 starts this season, Dostal has 11 wins with a .904 save percentage. His play has helped vault the Ducks up to first place in the Pacific Division after seven years outside the playoffs.
