The Loveland Police Department arrested a 23-year-old Loveland man for reportedly fighting with an officer and trying to take items off the officer’s belt, according to an arrest report.

The man was arrested at 3:10 a.m. Monday in the 3300 block of West 29th Street on charges of disorderly conduct, fighting with another person in a public place; criminal attempt to commit a class five or six felony; disarming an officer; and resisting arrest.

The involved officer was not seriously injured and did not need to be transported to a hospital, said Public Information Officer Chris Padgett.
