KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A Kansas City man is facing a slew of felony charges in connection to a critical injury shooting from early November.

Court documents filed in Jackson County on Tuesday charge 44-year-old Jordan Davis with five felonies, including first-degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.

Davis is accused of shooting a man twice in the leg and once in the stomach in a parking lot behind an apartment complex on Nov. 2, 2025.

While officers were responding to the scene, the victim told police Davis shot him. Davis gave police the identity of “Christian Davis” and, when booked, police said his hands were swabbed for gunshot residue and blood was on them.
