As the end of the year approaches and the holiday season draws near, those in need in Bradley County are relying on the Chattanooga Area Food Bank now more than ever.
"Hunger looks different for each of our families. Everybody has in mind kind of what hunger looks like and we have those versions of hunger in our community. However, we have more families who are just struggling to get by day-to-day," said Autumn O'Bryan, Director of Family and Community Resources for Cleveland City Schools.
In 2025, Bradley County has seen more families in need of food help. It comes as the cost of groceries continues to rise and food assistance programs like SNAP are being halted. The need for help this holiday season is greater than ever before.
