The Detroit Lions received a pleasant surprise and massive Thanksgiving gift ahead of Thursday’s clash with the Green Bay Packers: The return of former All-Pro center Frank Ragnow.

Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Frank Ragnow has decided to come out of retirement and return to the Lions. The 29-year-old stunned the football world by announcing his retirement in June, citing the number of injuries his body has endured.

Ragnow obviously won’t jump into action against the Packers tomorrow afternoon, but NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport adds that the four-time Pro Bowler is “in shape and ready to roll sooner, rather than later.”
