Raising Cane's is expanding, with 14 new restaurants planned to open in December, including two in Florida.

The company said in a statement to USA TODAY that the openings are part of Raising Cane's expansion of its national footprint.

The company's goal is to run more than 1,600 restaurants nationwide and to "solidify its place among the Top 10 U.S. Restaurant Brands by the end of the decade."
