ASHEVILLE - An Arden woman pleaded guilty in Buncombe County Superior Court after police say she delayed reporting her boyfriend’s shooting death and gave the suspect a vehicle to escape from police, records show.
Aria Shequan Waters, 35, entered a guilty plea on Nov. 17 to accessory after the fact to voluntary manslaughter, possession of a stolen firearm and attempt to traffic in methamphetamine, according to her plea transcript.
Police search warrants and Waters’ indictment allege she delayed reporting the death of her boyfriend, Terry Lee Landrum Sr., 49, until about an hour after he was shot on June 16, 2024. The documents also allege she provided the shooter, Knowledge Jamal Davis, 19, with a light brown Infiniti G37 sedan to flee the scene, which she reported stolen to police.
