With high winds and snow expected around Southwest for the next day, Indiana Michigan Power is ready to spring into action to restore service to anyone who loses it.

Company spokesperson Schnee Doyle tells us as of early Wednesday afternoon, I&M had about 300 outages in Michigan, but that could change.

“ During the weather, we encourage our customers to prepare and have a plan in place in case they experience a power outage,” Doyle said. “ Our crews are prepared and will work as quickly and safely as possible to restore power if outages occur in our community.”

Doyle said even though it’s Thanksgiving, crews will respond to any issues.
