Thousands are without power in the western part of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula Wednesday as a snowstorm rolls through the region .

Just over 26,000 electric customers are out overall in multiple counties across the state, including 2,216 and 2,464 in Allegan and Ottawa counties and other areas in Western Michigan.

However, according to PowerOutage.us, which tracks utility systems across the country, several counties in the UP have been particularly impacted by outages and blizzard conditions as of 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26.

UP power customers without electricity are numbered as follows.

Alger County: 343

Baraga County: 1,474

Delta County: 362

Gogebic County: 3,015

Houghton County: 2,304

Iron County: 2,162

Keweenaw County: 1,289

Marquette County: 3,797
