Ethan Browne , the Raising Helen actor who is son of musician Jackson Browne , has died. He was 52.

The eight-time Grammy-nominated Jackson announced the death of his oldest son, whom he shared with his late wife Phyllis Major, in a statement after Ethan died Tuesday in his home. A cause of death was not immediately made available.

“It is with deep sorrow that we share that on the morning of November 25, 2025, Ethan Browne, the son of Jackson Browne and Phyllis Major, was found unresponsive in his home and has passed away,” wrote Jackson Browne on Instagram . “We ask for privacy and respect for the family during this difficult time. No further details are available at this moment.”
