MILWUAKEE (CBS 58) -- The City of Milwaukee announced that its emergency 'City-County Food Drive' is over.
In total it raised over $93,000 and collected 9,000 pounds of food.
The drive started as a way to help local families get food and other essentials during the government shutdown.
Even though the emergency food drive has ended, donations bins will stay open through Thanksgiving.
