2 Chainz gives back to families in metro Atlanta hometown

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Grammy Award-winning rapper 2 Chainz distributed Thanksgiving meals to 150 families in his hometown Tuesday morning.

The artist passed out canned Thanksgiving staples, fresh greens and $50 Walmart gift cards for families to purchase turkeys.

“You have to when you blessed, you gotta give back. We need to make that a law. We need to give back. That’s why we out here. Mom, son, wife, two daughters — the whole family out here. The best time of the year,” the rapper said.

Families also received vouchers to see the College Park Skyhawks basketball team.
