Brits look set to face two storms bringing heavy rain and snow in the coming days, with as much as 10cm (four inches) of the white stuff settling in some parts of the country.
Advanced modelling maps show a massive weather front sweeping across all of the UK in the early hours of December 4. The precipitation will fall as rain in Northern Ireland , Wales , England and southern parts of Scotland , while central and northern Scotland could see some serious snow .
