JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) shared video on Wednesday from a recent animal rescue where a young deer made sure everyone in the area knew it was in need of assistance.
According to JCSO, an animal control officer responded to a call near Parmalee Elementary School in Indian Hills after the deer got itself stuck in a fence.
“The little one was wedged in tight and was making sure the whole neighborhood knew it,” the sheriff’s office said in a social media post sharing the video. “Translation of the loud protests: ‘Get me outta here!’”
JCSO said the deer was freed and reunited with its mother who was right around the corner.
