HERRIN — Herrin Hometown Christmas will take center stage this weekend as the city prepares for its annual tree lighting, festival events and downtown activities.

One of this year’s biggest additions will unfold in the Monroe and Park Avenue windows of the Baldwin Piano and Organ Center, where 38 community members will portray live mannequins from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday.
